Robert V. Williamson of Lucile and McCall, left peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2012, in his sleep at his home in Lucile and is on his new journey after 87 years among his family and friends.
His philosophy followed the Sam Walter Foss poem, “Let me live by the side of the road and be a friend to man.”
A celebration of his life will be held at Lucile on Saturday, April 7, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. No flowers, No tears. Potluck.
Robert was preceded in death by his grandson, Austin, and his wife, Janet. He is survived by his son Gregg (Veronica) Williamson, his daughter, Darcy (Robert) Sweetgall, three grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
