J. Shane Taylor, 52, of Boise, formerly of McCall, died peacefully with his wife and daughters by his side on Friday, Aug. 24, 2012.
A memorial service for Shane will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 4601 S. Surprise Way, Boise, at 6 p.m. on Thursday Aug. 30, 2012.
Shane was born June 6, 1960, in Idaho Falls, to Bud Taylor and Mary Joan Laur. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, John Laur, in McCall.
Shane graduated from McCall-Donnelly High School in 1978, continuing his education and graduating from Boise State University in 1983. He was employed by Micron Technology for approximately 23 years prior to his debilitating illness.
Shane met, fell in love with and married Teresa R. Brush on June 20, 1987, having 28 amazing years together. During this time they were blessed with two wonderful daughters Amanda, age 20 and Ashley, age 19.
Shane had a very active life, enjoying all outdoor sports with family and friends, enriching and touching many hearts during his lifetime. He was determined, loving, caring and compassionate to all who he came in contact with.
He is survived by his wife and daughters, his mother, five siblings and their families. Words alone will not describe how deeply he will be missed.
