Albert C. Miller Jr., 83, of McCall, died Oct. 15, 2011.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Heikkila Funeral Chapel, McCall.
Albert was born in Brownsville, Minn., on July 11, 1928. He moved to California in 1936. He rode motorcycles and drove trucks for California Cartage for a living.
He was the Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge Payette Lakes Lodge 2569 from 1990 to 1991.
He leaves behind two sons, Michael P. Miller, 56, and Kim S. Miller, 55; and his beloved daughter; Donna I. Miller, 54, who was with him till the end.
He also leaves behind a daughter-in-law, Charolett Miller; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his girlfriend of 17 years Peg A. Ellibee, 92.
He also leaves behind his little sister, Donna Scholl, and many nieces and nephews. My dad also leaves behind many dear friends and acquaintances.
In deepest love and truly fond memories that lasted 54 years for me, he was and always will be forever in my heart, my “John Wayne” and Big Al.
