Andy Dalgleish

On May 3, 2011, the community of McCall lost Andy Dalgleish, a beautiful and dynamic young man.

A celebration of Andy’s life for his friends and family will be held at the Little Ski Hill on Sunday, July 31, at 2 p.m. Food, and refreshments will be served. All those who touched Andy’s life or who were touched by Andy are welcome to attend.

Andy is survived by his parents, Jan and Murray Dalgleish of McCall; brothers, Glenn of Eugene, Ore., and Alex of Missoula, Mont., and a son, Tanner Malkmus of Emmett.

Everyone who knew Andy was aware that he was special and unique. Andy was a creative, engaging, and loyal son, brother, student, and friend. He never hesitated to help others.

He will be missed for his imaginative sense of humor. Andy was one of the funniest and engaging people you would ever meet. He never failed to leave an impression on those he encountered.

His family would like to thank all of our dear and supportive friends we have in this community that have helped us through this difficult time.

So many have contacted us and shared funny stories and good times they had with Andy. The deep grief and sorrow and the emotional response to his sudden passing are testaments to his impact on so many lives.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Andy’s memory may be made to a scholarship fund for Tanner at Key Bank, 1024 S. Washington Ave., Emmett, Idaho 83617.
