Robert Carl “Bob” Steiner

Please join us Saturday June 4, 2011, for a remembrance and celebration of the life of Bob at Brundage Mountain Resort lodge.

The celebration will begin at 1 p.m. Bring a story to share.

Bob died Dec. 14, 2010, at age 60. He was born on Aug. 18, 1950, in Missoula, Mont., to Lowell August and Evelyn I. Steiner.

Bob attended grade school at St. Francis Xavier in Missoula, high school at Loyola in Missoula, and earned a bachelor degree at the University of Montana in Missoula.

Bob worked for the U.S. Forest Service from 1968 to 1975, first on the hot shot crew and then as a smokejumper. He spent his winters during this time living in McCall and skiing with his friends at Brundage Mountain.

In remembrance of Bob, donations may be given in his name to The Little Ski Hill, P.O Box 442, McCall, ID 83638.
